Through participating in CPI’s Construction Industry Internship Program, Christian has taken the next step in his professional journey, gaining invaluable hands-on experience with Layton Construction in Boise, Idaho.

Christian’s time in the Army equipped him with discipline, resilience, and leadership—traits that translate seamlessly into the fast-paced and detail-oriented world of construction. As part of his internship with Layton Construction, Christian immersed himself in the intricacies of project management, construction operations, and on-site communications &collaboration.

Christian’s internship concluded on February 7, 2025, marking the culmination of months of hard work, learning, and professional growth. Prior to the internship ending, Christian received and accepted a job offer from Layton, starting as a Field Engineer in his desired transition location of Boise, ID. This opportunity to gain hands-on skills and experience while a company gets to know him has positioned Christian for a bright future!
