The CPI Foundation reserves the right to suspend or shorten training sessions with or without prior notice to enrolled participants.
Application
Application Information
- Active Duty Service Members
- Must have completed at least 180 continuous days on active duty
- Must have expected discharge date or release from active duty date within 180 days of start of training program
- Must receive authorization from the first field grade commander with UCMJ authority in the service member's chain of command
- Fill out application below AND contact your local military transition office as soon as possible to begin the required military approval process
- Must have completed at least 180 continuous days on active duty
- Veterans and Military Dependents
- Are eligible for participation at the Alcatraz Island location only (the Pearl Harbor location can only accept active duty service members)
- Veterans must have been Honorably Discharged and able to provide DD-214 for verification of military service
- Military dependents must be 18 years of age or older and must be a dependent of a military service member currently serving on active duty

- Are eligible for participation at the Alcatraz Island location only (the Pearl Harbor location can only accept active duty service members)
- Alcatraz lsland Field Training Program Information
- Alcatraz lsland Field Training Program participants are housed at no charge in dorms operated by the National Park Service located on Fort Cronkhite in the Marin Headlands (just north of the Golden Gate Bridge)
- Active duty participants may secure space available travel through Air Mobility Command, U.S. Air Force, and fly to Travis Air Force Base, California (approx. 45 miles from housing location)
- All enrolled participants must secure their own modes of transportation to arrive to the program housing location prior to identified start date
- All daily and routine transportation requirements throughout the program are provided by the CPI Foundation
- Alcatraz lsland Field Training Program participants are housed at no charge in dorms operated by the National Park Service located on Fort Cronkhite in the Marin Headlands (just north of the Golden Gate Bridge)
