- Active duty service members and veterans from any location may apply to participate in CPI's direct Career Exploration Program
- All CPI Field School participants will be automatically enrolled in the Career Exploration Program (if applying for the Field School, do not apply here)
- After initial application on this page, CPI will contact applicants to assess minimum qualifications and begin enrollment
About the Career Exploration Program
- Concrete and construction companies nationwide partner with CPI to hire managers and tradespeople for all industry areas including contracting, production, sales, and service (including drivers)
- Participants will be:
- Guided in matching their skills, aptitudes, prior training, and career goals with industry career pathways
- Given guidance on interview skills and resume development that relate military occupational specialties to industry career paths
- Directly connected to companies in their preferred geographic regions of the country; these companies have dedicated individuals who are familiar with CPI and hiring military personnel
- Connected to job opportunities prior to civilian transition (active duty); expedited connections for qualified veterans
- Guided in matching their skills, aptitudes, prior training, and career goals with industry career pathways
- College-bound service members are connected to related university programs that have agreed to assist with possible transfer credit; CPI remains involved to assist with internship placement during college and career placement upon graduation
