​* Active Duty Service Members:

Service member must have completed at least 180 continuous days on active duty, are expected to be discharged or released from active duty within 180 days of start of training program, and receive authorization from the first field grade commander with UCMJ authority in the service member's chain of command. 


Veterans:

Veterans are not eligible for participation at the Pearl Harbor Field School and are only eligible for participation at the Alcatraz Island Field School. Service member must have been Honorably Discharged and able to provide DD-214 for verification of military service. 


**Alcatraz Island Field School:

Active Duty participants accepted into the Alcatraz Island Field School will secure space available travel through Air Mobility Command, U.S. Air Force and fly direct to Travis Air Force Base, California. Upon arrival, participants are transported from the Travis Air Force Base Passenger Terminal to private dorms operated by the National Park Service located on Fort Cronkhite in the Marin Headlands. 


All participants accepted into the Alcatraz Island Field School are housed in National Park Service dorms at no charge.
